1)To help avoid slowing down games: always maintain visual contact with the party preceding you; if you do not see them anymore, you are probably to slow!!
2) Arrive at the first tee at least 5 minutes before your scheduled tee off time.
Time saved : At least 2 minutes.
3) At the tee: get ready, put on glove, have ball and tee in hand while other player teeing off.
Time saved: 30 seconds per hole 9 minutes per game
4) At the tee play ready golf: a player who is ready tees off to avoid delays.
Time saved: 30 seconds per hole 9 minutes per game.
5) Walk briskly and plan your choice of club before arriving to your ball.
Time saved: 30 seconds per hole 9 minutes per game.
6) When first approaching a green to putt, leave your golf bag away from the green in the direction leading to next hole.
Time saved per foursome: 1 minute per hole, 18 minutes per game
7) Plan and study your putt while another player is putting and be ready to putt when your turn comes up.
Time saved: 30 seconds per hole 9 minutes per game.
8) Do not mark your score card on the green, mark it at the next tee while another player is teeing off.
Time saved: 30 seconds per hole 9 minutes per game
